(To the Tune: Stairway to Heaven)
My dear Aunt Jean golfed up until the age of 87. This song is dedicated to her. Yes, I exaggerated a few of her mannerisms in the song (so arrest me!) but I did go golfing with her once, and watching others watch us play gave me the idea for the song.
I was – and still am – a true fan of the original “Stairway to Heaven” song, and I only hope this parody does the tune justice, and doesn’t go over like… a lead balloon, if you know what I’m referring to.
