(To the Tune: Walking in a Winter Wonderland)
I’ve been a lifelong environmentalist, and this parody is an entertaining, musical way to get a very serious message across. There is massive clear-cutting going on all across the world, and the problem lies in the fact that this is almost always done out of the public eye. Out of sight, out of mind. Yes, new trees are re-planted, but trees alone don’t make up for decimating entire eco-systems.
A special mention of gratitude to the late and amazing Carl Horak for his great cartoons designed especially for so many of these parodies, which he always enjoyed hearing.
